Roy Ripak is the Market Vice President for the Walgreen Company. Currently he is supervising 295 stores, 19 Take Care Clinics, 7 on-site pharmacies and Home Infusion Center in Southeast Florida. Roy has been with the Walgreen Company for 39 years. He joined Walgreens in 1974 as a stock boy in New York. The past 8 years Roy has had similar roles in the West Coast of Florida and Denver, Colorado.
Roy was born and raised in Long Island, New York. He attended Nassau Community College and Adelphi University in New York. In 2000 he received his MBA in Management from the University of Miami. Roy currently serves as a board member for the American Diabetes Association, Ronald McDonald House, and past board member for Florida International University Business School.
He is actively involved with such charities as Diabetes Research Institute, Ronald McDonald House, American Heart Association, among many others. Roy has partnered with Diabetes Research Institute to organize and sponsor a diabetes walk for the state of Florida in 14 locations throughout the state. They have raised $4 million dollars over the last 3 years for local charities, including Dan Marino Foundation.
Roy currently resides in Weston, Florida with his wife Vivian and daughter Samantha. They enjoy horseback riding and sporting events.
