Exterior Building - UpdatedProgram participants will be housed in fully-furnished living quarters on the Disney campus. Housing costs range from $103 to $200 (costs subject to change) per week depending on the size of the apartment and which apartment complex a participant is assigned to live in during his or her program. Housing costs are automatically deducted weekly from cast members’ paychecks. This cost will include all utilities such as electricity, cable hookup, waste disposal, and local phone service; as well as the various resort-style amenities featured at each complex.

When a participant accepts his/her invitation to participate in the program, a fee (indicated below) will be required. Please note that this fee must be paid by credit card/debit card as a single payment. Once the payment is received and the online acceptance process is completed, Disney will officially reserve the participants’ place on the program.

Academic Exchange Program (AEP) fee is $355 (includes the Program Fee and Housing Fee). Program Fee ($225): The one-time non-refundable fee helps support the administration, events, and activities scheduled in the housing complexes throughout the program. Housing Fee ($130): This required non-refundable fee will be applied to the participant’s housing costs during the first week of the program.

In assigning apartments and roommates, all accommodations will be assigned by gender and whether participants are over or under the age of 21. There is no co-ed housing. Apartments may include up to 8 participants per apartment.

Company-sponsored housing is for exclusive use of Disney Internships & Programs participants .Guests are welcome to visit a participant’s apartment complex, however, overnight guests are prohibited.

Transportation service is available to cast members who live at one of Disney’s apartment complexes only. The primary purpose of the transportation system is to provide cast members with a shuttle to their work location on a scheduled route. Shuttles to local merchants for groceries and sundries also are provided.

*All bedrooms are shared by two- three people. Living areas and kitchens are shared between everyone in the apartment. All apartments are non-smoking.

**Paid by credit card at the time a student accepts their invitation to participate in the Academic Exchange Experience program.

All apartments are furnished. The four available apartment complexes to reside in are The Commons, Chatham Square, Patterson Court, and Vista Way. Amenities included in the housing costs are as follows:


  • Dresser with mirror
  • Nightstand
  • Two twin beds or one twin bed + twin bunk bed

Students must provide their own linens (sheets, pillows, towels, etc.)

Additional Items Provided

  • Shower curtain
  • Vanity wastebaskets, kitchen wastebaskets and recycling bin

  • Maintenance of the apartments, including pest control
  • All utilities, including water, electricity and waste disposal
  • High-speed Internet access
  • Computer labs in clubhouses
  • Centrally-located laundry facilities
  • On-site security
  • Cable television hook-ups
  • Swimming pools
  • Weight rooms/fitness centers, basketball and volleyball courts, pool and Ping-Pong tables*
